IT Business Change & Integration Manager

To manage the delivery of the portfolio of business change to meet the strategic vision through the day to day management of project managers, business analyst and testers to ensure that projects are managed using the LPK project methodology within budget and to time and to lever a more agile approach.

Responsibilities:

  • Effective delivery of change through planned implementations.
  • Providing management support to keep activities focused by providing senior management with information to direct and manage the change process
  • Line management responsibilities for Business Analysis & Testing teams, Project Managers and Program Office
  • Development, training and motivation of above teams
  • Leading the firms prioritisation through clear and timely information that will allow effective prioritisation
  • Manage the budget associated with the business change especially in the area of Professional Services
  • Establishing a project environment that underpins the firms Good to Great strategy in terms of the personnel and the working practices such as they encompass the firms Winning Ways

Knowledge

  • Understanding a practical application of the PRINCE2 project methodology
  • Compilation and dissemination of business ideas (Project Registration Documents, Business Cases, Project Initiation Document) for business change projects
  • Knowledge of agile project techniques
  • Project and program structuring
  • Familiarity with the leasing industry or similar financial services
  • Budget planning and control
  • Microsoft Word, Excel, Project 98, Powerpoint.

Skills

  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to influence decision makers at all levels
  • Strong people management with ‘hands on’ approach
  • Ability to manage workload from a strategic viewpoint concurrently with actually ‘getting the job done’
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Flexible nature, showing adaptability to a variety of problems, situations and personalities

Experience

Essential

  • 5 years experience in a strategic business change environment
  • 3 years experience in people management covering performance reviews
  • Educated to or able to demonstrate experience equivalent to degree level
  • Proven track record in large scale business change projects
  • Business/Commercial background
